I decided to purchase a new Ford Taurus using the internet. I live in CT, but Balise Ford came up. Although ititially reluctant, I must admit this was one of the best experiences in purchasing a car. As a college student on a budget and 100 miles a day for commuting, I picked a 2012 Ford Focus with a manual transmission for lower vehicle cost and better fuel efficiency. Found a vehicle I was interested in on their web site. Drove out from the Worcester area. From the moment we walked in the entire staff was courteous and friendly. I was only looking to view and possibly test drive the used vehicle but wound up purchasing it. Both the salesperson and the finance person were knowledgeable and helpful in ensuring that the vehicle was in fact what I desired and that the payment numbers worked toward my budget. Drove all the way to Wilbraham from Cape Cod to deal with Balise Ford. They had the new 2011 F350 4x4 Crew Cab Lariat I needed and had a deal I could not beat. They handled the trade in and sale flawlessly. Brian the saleman spent all the time I needed to familarize me with the new Sync system in the truck, he even paired my Droid phone to the truck so I could use it on the ride back to the Cape. Tim the finance guy saved me an extra $100 a month by going the extra distance to search out every rebate and finance offer available from a ton of different banks. Its rare that you leave a dealer with more than you expected for less than you intended to pay, but thats exactly what happened in this case. I bought a 2007 Ford Edge from Balise Ford. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff. I worked with both Steve and Tim for the final purchase of my Edge. I live out of state, and it was great that they arranged delivery of the vehicle. Steve was very knowledgeable about the Edge and I liked the excitement he showed towards the vehicles. Tim was a great help with financing options and solutions. I never felt pressured at any point, received a good value for my trade, and I felt comfortable in the showroom. Saw a preowned vehicle online at this dealership that interested me, made a call to the dealership and spoke with Ed in sales, we made our deal on the phone and it was important to me that the car be represented correctly as i had a 90 mile drive to the dealership. Got there, car was exactly as represented in ad. made the purchase and drove the car home. Car had a mechanical problem, spoke with Brian the sales manager, had the car towed back to dealership, car was immediately repaired and Brian had someone from the dealership drive the car more than half way to meet up with us. Not only did I feel welcome I felt at home. We have never bought a vehicle from a dealer before and we were told to go try balise. My husband and i knew we wanted and needed a 4wd vehicle because we live in the hilltowns...from the minute we came into balise ford of wilbraham, (met Stephen Phaneuf and Tim Lavoie right away), we knew this was the place...we knew what we wanted and the inventory of ford escapes (2011) was great...Stephen and Tim worked with us for the best deal...they gave us top dollar for our trade in(as a matter of fact, it was a 2005 honda accord that we purchased brand new at balise honda in w. springfield!) and gave us all the incentives available at that time...let us just say that we did not plan on purchasing a vehicle that day necessarily....this was after all the FIRST place we went to....Tim and Stephen were not pushy, they were so friendly and let us take our time looking at and driving the vehicle. Stephen was so knowledgeable and believe it or not, have not had to look at the manual once so far! thanks Stephen!
